Green Papaya is open for lunch and dinner service. Carry-out is also available during lunch and dinner, including Sushi.
Green Papya is locally owned and managed by husband and wife, Sak Kertpet and Sunee (Ta) Panichluechachai, both originally from Bangkok, Thailand. Sak was a Chef in Boston and moved to Cincinnati in 2000. Responsible for managing the front of the house, Ta is also a Sushi Chef. Together, they have developed many unique interpretations of Sushi rolls, Thai curries, and noodle dishes. Sak is delighted to cook "Thai style" or adjust the spice level to tamer standards; but he never compromises on the flavors and high quality standards Green Papaya is known for.
Among the numerous awards since our opening in August 2006, we are honored to have received those from Cincinnati Magazine, City Beat, and CinWeekly/ Metromix. We are especially gratified to have received the regional award from the Thai Ambassador's Industry of Commerce "Thai Select" 2007-2009 for Thai Cuisine "Presentation and Interpretation."
Green Papaya provides a calming, tranquil Asian atmosphere. We have recently expanded our dining space, doubling the initial size. We are now capable of serving all our customers more efficiently while allowing more space to enjoy one another's company. Our ultimate goal is your dining satisfaction.
